Tuesday, June 17 – CFUV Station Visit (1-2pm)

📍 CFUV (Student Union Building RmB006, 3800 Finnerty Rd, Victoria, BC V8P 5C2)

Join us for a tour of CFUV before the conference starts. Free for anyone to attend, we will then transit to Nanaimo! 

Tuesday, June 17 – Welcome Party at CHLY Station (6-9pm)

📍 CHLY: 34 Victoria Crescent, Nanaimo, BC

After the first full day of sessions, take a behind-the-scenes look at CHLY 101.7FM with a station tour hosted by the team.

Kick off the conference in style with our official Welcome Party. Mingle with fellow attendees, soak in some great live music from Shel brought to you by FACTOR as we toast to the week ahead. A great chance to connect and settle into the coastal vibes of the city! Food will be served, BBQ with Salmon and locally raised meat along with potluck of other items from station volunteers and did we mention drinks from White Sails/local breweries/BCLS.

Wednesday, June 18 – Evening at The Queens (6-9pm)

📍 The Queens: 34 Victoria Crescent, Nanaimo, BC 

After visiting CHLY the day before, this time head upstairs to The Queens for a pizza party and more live music to keep the energy going into the night. This is an event open to the public, with great acts like Neavv, Road Poets, and Josh Gellman brought to you by FACTOR.

Thursday, June 19 – Open Evening: Free Time

Unfortunately the Saysutshun Salmon Dinner event has been cancelled, due to scheduling issues, we will be giving out refunds for those who paid the additional price for this event. We will reach out to those who purchased tickets for this event.

Friday, June 20th – Dinner & CRABO’s Awards Night (6:00-10pm)

Celebrate our final evening together with a delicious dinner in the Arbutus Room. A great way to unwind and connect before the big finale.

CRABO’s Awards Night & Q&A

Our closing CRABO’s Awards Night takes place in the beautiful Malaspina Theatre. Join us to honour excellence in community radio, with live Jazz performances and a special guess, Robin Eriksson.

🎙️ Robin Eriksson—M.Ed. in Art for Social Change, CKUW veteran, creative facilitator, and storyteller—brings her passion and insight into this dynamic conversation. Don’t miss an amazing night to wrap-up to a fantastic week.
